To mark the 50th year of this luncheon, the event took place in the Old Girls’ Atrium, a meaningful venue within the school that stands as a testament to the generosity and commitment of Old Girls who supported the school’s rebuild after the earthquake.
Cranmer Ladies are considered to be alumnae who attended St Margaret’s before 1968, and the name pays homage to those who attended St Margaret’s at its original site on Cranmer Square. The annual lunch brings together both the newest inductees and longstanding members for a day of reconnection and reflection. The event provides a cherished opportunity to catch up with old friends.
SMCOGA President Bella Forbes hosted the luncheon, also attended by St Margaret’s Executive Principal Diana Patchett and new committee member Jaz McCully who spoke at the lunch.
The Cranmer Ladies tradition continues to thrive, ensuring that the connections made while at St Margaret's remain as strong as ever with friendships and community spirit that endure for a lifetime.
