Parents & Friends
Enriching our parent and caregiver community
The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) at St Margaret’s College is an integral part of our school community.
Established with the goal of strengthening the bonds within our parent community, the PFA serves as a dynamic link between parents, caregivers, and the College.
As a parent or caregiver of a St Margaret’s student, you are automatically welcomed into the PFA through an annual subscription, joining a network of families dedicated to enriching the school experience for all.
Our PFA meetings, held twice per term, offer a unique platform for parents to engage with the Executive Principal, the Trust Board, and various guest speakers. These gatherings are not only informative but also foster a sense of community and shared aspiration.
The PFA’s purpose is to actively involve parents and caregivers in the St Margaret’s community, creating opportunities for meaningful engagement and relationship-building. We play a central role in organising social functions and events, such as the much-loved father-daughter breakfasts, which enhance the interaction between parents and the College.
Our initiatives are focused on enriching the school community, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, and supporting the overall mission of the College.
Being part of the PFA means being closely engaged in your child’s education and the broader St Margaret’s community. From attending informative meetings and having a say in community participation to enjoying social events, involvement in the PFA offers a multitude of benefits. We encourage all parents to join us at our regular meetings, coffee mornings at Maggie’s Cafe, and early evening drinks, and to become active participants in our vibrant community.
