Nevaeh Shand is ready to take her next step at the University of Canterbury, where she will be studying a double degree in Commerce and Arts, chosen to reflect both her academic strengths and her creative interests. Alongside her studies, she plans to stay connected to her passions for music and the performing arts, continuing to develop them as part of her wider university experience.
With a strong interest in business, Nevaeh hopes to pursue a career in management within the commerce pathway. She is also open to the possibility of teaching, drawn to the creativity and positive impact that comes from working with young people. Having been part of St Margaret’s since her early years in the Junior School, she says she will miss the ‘full-circle’ moments most, once looking up to the older students, and now having the opportunity to support younger girls in the same way.
