Special guests Head Prefect, Sina Avia, and her dad, Niven, shared their father-daughter story.
Sina spoke candidly about her journey from being a shy little girl to standing confidently in front of the whole school, a transformation she credits in part to her dad’s unwavering support. Niven reflected on the privilege of watching his daughter grow, sharing moments filled with encouragement, “cringy” dad jokes, and plenty of laughs along the way.
Their conversation offered an honest and touching glimpse into the father–daughter bond, showing that while growing up can be challenging, shared experiences and mutual respect make the journey richer.
The morning was made even better by the delicious breakfast prepared by our talented SMC Catering staff. Thank you to the PFA for organising this memorable event, which each year group enjoys once annually, with the opportunity for students to bring their dads or a special family member along.
