SMC Athletics Day

SMC Athletics Day was held on Tuesday 13 February at Nga Puna Wai. House spirit was at the forefront as the students rotated around competing in the track and field events. Thanks to all the staff who helped on the day making sure it ran smoothly.

All the best to those students who have qualified to enter the Canterbury Secondary School Athletic Champs on Tue 26 March.

Swimming Sports
Another much anticipated House event was held with great success today, the annual SMC Swimming Sports. The Middle School girls braved the morning chill to swim, yell and cheer for their House and the Senior School girls finished off the day with loads of colour, shouting, chanting and fun.

Well done to everyone, we will have full results for this and Athletics Day in an upcoming newsletter.
