Being approachable and friendly and understanding that personal relationships are the key to everyone’s success is Irelands difference.
SMC Old Girl Melissa Benge (Ireland) left the IT industry to follow her mother, Bernice, into real estate, “It’s no secret that Mum has been my inspiration for years. She started Irelands, and we owned it together at one point until I bought out her shareholding in 2022.“
Operating under three core values, Irelands has carved a niche in the competitive real estate and property management industry:
Melissa is also quick to dispel any preconceived conceptions about the real estate industry being hard-nosed and tough, “I love working with a brilliant team of people who are all growing their own careers within the company. We all work hard to achieve results and have a lot of fun along the way. I feel very privileged to be able to market Irelands brand, and I honour the work of my mother and father, who have helped create the organisation that we are today.”
Ireland’s is currently sponsoring the St Margaret’s College whole school production of Mary Poppins. To learn more about Irelands, visit the SMC Business Directory here.
