The Spring 2026 edition of Evergreen, St Margaret's College's alumnae magazine, is now available.
This issue marks 110 years of the Old Girls' Association, tracing its history from the first gatherings in 1913 through to the reunions, scholarships and gifts that have shaped the College since.
Three alumnae share where their paths have taken them. Rosemary Cann is touring schools across Tasmania as a professional actor, Felicity Champion has founded PerVigeō, a Christchurch practice supporting neurodivergent children and their families, and Amy Lin Turner leads a software engineering team at Amazon after a career spanning five cities on three continents.
Also in this edition are features on co-curricular arts and Junior School sport, three Old Girls studying and working overseas, the new Greer Family Rowing Centre, and profiles of Julius House Manager Stacey James and International Student Manager Jo Fogarty.
We also take time to remember the Old Girls and staff our community lost this year.
Reunion Weekend runs from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November, with further alumnae and community events in Nelson, Blenheim, Wānaka and Christchurch in November. Find out more and register at smcconnect.school.nz/events.
SMCOGA hosts or takes part in around 30 events every year, everything from alumnae speaker sessions in the classroom to golf days, regional lunches and international networking eve… More...
