Phillip Roth from BDO was our guest speaker for our Year 12 and 13 girls for their annual Father-Daughter Breakfast and 'The future of work - a world of opportunities lies ahead' was a fitting topic for our students to start the day.
Phillip's his presentation, based on the nine trends that will shape work in 2024 and beyond, was a fabulous insight for our girls setting them up with an industry insight that will be of great benefit to them as they prepare for life beyond SMC. Phillip also touched on the increased opportunities for women in leadership roles and the resources and opportunities available to develop the skills needed to help our girls strive toward their goals, whatever they may be.
Organised by the Parents and Friends Association, these breakfasts are a way for our girls to bring a special male figure in their life to enjoy breakfast and to hear from inspirational guest speakers like Phillip.
Each year group is invited to attend with the Year 10 and 11 breakfast coming up on 15 March - See SMC Events to book your tickets.
