Charlotte has been instrumental in her role as Junior Sports Manager at Parafed Canterbury, where she leads the Junior Sports Club and coordinates school visits and competitions. Her work supports young athletes with disabilities to access sport, build skills, and grow in confidence.
From her days at St Margaret’s to her leadership in para sport today, Charlotte exemplifies what it means to combine determination, heart, and a love of sport. Her commitment to championing inclusion and accessibility in sport reflects the very best of the St Margaret’s founding value of dedication to a higher purpose.
The Sports Awards also recognised the incredible achievements of current students, staff, and coaches following what the New Zealand Herald described as a “staggering sporting year”, including national championship titles in hockey, rowing, and volleyball, along with countless South Island, regional, and local wins across a wide range of sports.
Congratulations to all our St Margaret’s athletes, staff, and coaches for an outstanding year of achievement, determination, and teamwork.
