The win was an incredible display of determination, teamwork and heart and a moment of history for Canterbury netball.
We’re especially proud of St Margaret’s College alumna Josie Seymour, who made her Tactix debut just last weekend and was part of this championship-winning squad. Josie follows in the footsteps of her mother, Julie Seymour, also an SMC Old Girl, teacher, and former Silver Fern captain. It’s a special moment for the Seymour family and a proud one for our school community.
St Margaret’s was honoured to sponsor a Tactix Game Day earlier this season, showing our support for women’s professional sport and celebrating the inspiring pathways it creates for our girls.
To Josie and the entire Tactix team – congratulations on your well-deserved win. You’ve shown what it means to dream big and work hard. We’re cheering you on always!
