All girls in Years 7 to 13 are invited to join the EGG committee for the annual Educating Girls Globally event.
The EGG sleepover will take place on Thursday, August 15th. It is a charity event, and the funds raised will go towards the six charities the SMC EGG committee has chosen to support this year.
Full Bellies
Dignity NZ
I am Hope
Christchurch Aunties
Unicef Gaza
The Tanzania project
The EGG sleepover is heaps of fun, it includes afternoon tea, dinner, supper, and breakfast the following morning as well as heaps of activities such as bracelet making, baking, quizzes, games, and movies.
We are also fortunate enough to have the opportunity to hear guest speakers from the chosen charities.
Tickets are $50 per person, and all the profits will be distributed between the six chosen charities.
Your school account will be charged $50.
The EGG sleepover starts after school on Thursday at 3:45 p.m., and the next day is a whole-school SMC pyjama day, so it's the perfect way to wake up and head to school after the sleepover!
